Are you like me? When I like something, I’m totally into it. I can play my favourtie CD (currently Jason Mraz’s We sing, We Dance, We Steal Things) over and over again, watching Grey’s Anatomy over and over again, eating chicken chop for lunch for one whole semester etc. I’m simply the kind that once it’s-in-me, it’s in me till I’m really sick of it.

I’m having a bad week (and it’s only Wednesday today, GOSH!) so I turned to junk food, hoping to find some comfort. After 2 rows of almond chocolate bar, 1 packet of van houton semi-sweet almond chocolate, 1 set of Mcdonald’s, and 1 Oreo Mcflurry, I’m still feeling pretty moody. Well, it seems like the happy food doesn’t really help. Then it strikes on me that baking can be therapeutic as well.

Cookies again, thanks to my cookie monsters friends! These crunch cookies are from the trusted Chocolate Chips Cookies recipe (Williams-Sonoma’s Cookies page 10).  Hopefully, the next entry will be something other than cookies or I’ll probably die of cookies overload! Anyway, it’s Monday again tomorrow so I hope all of you will have a great week ahead!

I think I’ve expressed my love for peanut butter. I swear I can just scoop peanut butter and eat it just like that. However, the popularity of peanut butter are from 2 extreme ends. Some people just love it and some don’t thus, peanut butter is not a regular guest iny my baking list. Thankfully, my dear friend requested for some peanut butter cookies last week so I have some excuse to indulge in my favourtie skippy!

Other than chocolate chips cookies, my next favourite type of cookie is none other than oatmeal cookies. Usually, I’ll just use any oatmeal cookies that has many raves but I don’t seem to use these recipes again. So far, none of the oatmeal cookies has entered my favourite category. Yes they’re delicious (most of the time), but there’s nothing special that make it my favourite.
