It’s been a while since my last attempt with bread. When I first started making bread, I did a lot of research, reading from forums and different blog about bread making but sadly, it seems like all these knowledge has escaped from my brain, causing some “mishap” in the kitchen. Nevertheless, I managed to present my tiny loaf of bread here.

My friends and I had our lunch at Ikea today and as usual, we couldn’t finish the food we ordered. Then it dawn onto us how wasteful we are and we keep rattling on how guilty we all are about the waste. The irony thing is, despite feeling guilty, it seems like a norm that we will always order more that we can eat.

I was hit by a very bad chocolate craving today! Even after a pack on M&M didn’t satisfy my craving. Then I remembered Ovenhaven’s delicious brownie and voila, here I am presenting my version of the brownie!

I don’t know about you but I prefer preparing in advance when it comes to baking. I’ll usually think of what I feel like baking (or what I’m craving) then prepare the necessary ingredients before actually baking it. However, I made a last minute decision to make the Corniest Corn Muffin (Page 4 of Dorie Greenspan’s Baking: From My Home To Yours) as I was hit with a sudden craving for Kenny Rogers’ muffins.

First and foremost, I’m very very sorry that I’ve been missing for so long. I must admit that I haven’t touch the oven since March which is probably the longest period I went hiatus on baking. I have many reasons (or excuses) for my mia but most importantly, I feel that I’ve shifted my priorities to focus on my studies.
